		ALBUM REVIEW: Fred J. Riley “Awkward Awesome” By LG \| Published March 28, 2012

	Fred J. Riley took a gamble with this one. Making music that is clearly inspired by another form of media, whether it be a film, video game, or comic, sometimes can land you in a world of trouble. Not only will you be judged when it comes to your music, but you add an extra layer of scrutiny because people expect you to represent the property that you link your music with. If acheived, it is a great thing, and automatically makes you cooler than most. If you fail, you are looked at as exactly that, because no one will have sympathy for someone who was confident enough to take on a beloved property. Being that Scott Pilgrim (the film that this EP is inspired by) is one of my favorite films, Riley was put through the ringer by me. Keep reading » 2 - I Like This!
